URGENT PRAYER REquest

Deenamma grew up in extreme poverty in a small village in a tribal area of India. Female children do not hold much value in some places in India, they are viewed as just one more mouth to feed. As a child, Deenamma was sold to the highest bidder and became a bride at the age of 10. The man she married was 25 years old. Deenamma had two children and her husband treated her terribly. He was an alcoholic and beat her regularly, eventually throwing  her and the children out of their home. Deenamma and her children lived on the streets when she found a job as a servant, but it did not provide enough to take care of her and the children. 

Many years later one of the widows from our widow’s Hope Home found Deenamma alone and destitute. Deenamma cried and shared how sad and terrible her life had been. She had no food, no clothes, no place to live, no family, and she felt so lonely. Deenamma moved into the widow’s Hope Home where she learned about Jesus and was baptized. Deenamma is so happy to be loved and cared for and she loves to sing, pray, and worship the Lord. She loves Jesus very much.  

Recently, at only 63 years old, she was diagnosed with throat cancer. Please pray for her. We are taking very good care of her and she is loved by everyone in our ministry.
